Inspired by spring flowers, walks on the beach and summer holidays, “Future Heirlooms” is the new gorgeous EQP fabric collection!

Let's take a closer look at the fabrics and accompanying patterns!

The first design from this line is called 'Bouquet' and there's no further explanation needed when it comes to the name of this print I guess! This floral is just gorgeous and it's perfect as a border on a quilt, a beautiful backing or how about turning it into a pillow or bag?! "Bouquet" comes in the colorways Cotton, fresh Apple Green and warm Duck Egg.

"Tumbling Blocks" is one of my favorite prints as this can easily be an 19th century print as well as something very contemporary.

The cute little squares come in Light Olive, Lemonade and Frosty Blue. Perfect as blenders, but I love them as background fabrics as well. It's nice to not pick that "standard" cream background fabric for a change!

Real summer vibes are brought to you by the Dandelion design. Cute little flowers that are perfect to use in either large or small pieces. If I had to pick one, I guess the Sweet Sunshine would be my favorite, but actually the Emerald Green and Beach House colorways are just as lovely.

"Weave" is the perfect background and blender fabric! It looks like a solid from far, but it is a very fine stripe, which gives it just that little bit extra. If you check out the patterns I have designed with this collection, you'll find that the Cotton fabric is often used as a background, and the Cherry Blossom and Plum serve well as little highlights and bindings!

The fifth print is the Future Heirlooms collection is called "Saudade". It's inspired by Portugese tiles and although there's no literal translation for the word "Saudade", it means something like a longing. Since I'm always longing to create more beautiful fabrics to share with you, this name seemed just perfect for this print!

Saudade comes in bright Fuchsia, cool Powder Blue and warm Cinnamon brown.

And last but not least there's "Dotty", a sweet "twin polka dot"! Whether in a traditional or in a modern quilt, this small print is perfect in blocks, sashings, borders or as a binding. It can be used to support other fabrics, but it can steal the show on its own just as well. The Dotty print comes in delicious Strawberry, Pistachio and Chestnut.

Besides a lot of fabric goodness, there's also a lot of pattern goodness, as ideas for more and more projects with this line just kept coming! Are you ready to get inspired?

The flowers and birds in our garden inspired me to make this lovely appliqué quilt. With simple blocks that really show off the fabrics, this wallhanging is a real eyecatcher. "In My Garden" is a nice project to give appliqué a try if you haven't used this technique before, but if you're an experienced quilter, you will have just as much fun! With the 2 matching pillows (Flower Pillow and Pear Pillow), this quilt will add a touch of summer to your home.

Whether you go shopping for veggies or for fabric goodness, it's so much more fun if you're traveling with a stylish bag! Besides the cute appliqué pear, the Pear Bag really shows off the Bouquet fabric (here in Duck Egg).

Have you been longing to make your first quilt? Or are you searching for a fun project to work on? The Criss-cross quilt is a simple quilt with a stunning result. A perfect project for any level quilter.

Whether to decorate your home, or to gift to a dear one, these Songbirds bring instant happiness!

And the final pattern is the Birds Of A Feather quilt and pillow. A cozy country appliqué centre surrounded by colorful hourglass blocks makes a beautiful wallhanging and the soft, large pillow makes the look complete.

But that's not all we have in store for you!

Because besides a cute Mini Quilt that will be available on our website soon (keep an eye on our newsletter to not miss it!) there's another quilting adventure we're about to embark on!

On September 12, 2025, the EQP Mystery Quilt Along will start! We'll be making 12 doll quilts that can be finished as such, or combined to form a large bed quilt. Will you be joining us in this adventure? Click here to register to the group and download the FREE patterns.
