At the age of 10 my mother tought me how to patch and quilt. It didn't take long before I was totally ‘addicted’. By the time I was 16 years old the idea for Ellie's Quiltplace was born, but it lasted six years, up to June 2007, before my dream came true. Now I design and make all the patterns and quilts by myself. My mother Yvonne assists me and she gives me a lot of loving counciling and assistance. All quilts are patched and quilted by hand, no machine is used. I hope making my patterns will give you as much pleasure as it does to me. Ellen
